Having reached out by the team at Pluritopia for a tight deadline project, we helped to realize artists impression of the intersection between art and technology.
Through a two weeks process, we helped to build, art direct and bring to life the digital worlds of both Ding Yi Music Company and Nosestudio in VRChat.
Within the constraints of time, we focused on several factors that greatly affected perception.
We used various techniques such as projection mapping and 3D modelling to created and present the complexities of the various Chinese orchestra assets.
We incorporated chiaroscuro lighting, a traditional lighting style used to dramatize and evoke coziness. Spotlights were deployed to illuminate focus areas such as instruments and mirrors were used to dramatize the illusion of depth in this small space.
Lastly, we breathed life to the world through interactivity and particles, allowing one to engage with the instruments and to immerse in spatial audio while particles gently float and dissipates into the air.

The world was well received on the broadcast day and participants enjoyed exploring and immersing themselves in these two little cozy worlds that we've created.
